TEDx is where “innovators cultures ideas come together”. We participated in TEDx Perth in 2017 to showcase a program developed to help recent graduate designers to build and grow independent labels. The program provides support across all aspects of fashion design and practice, including creative development, digital design, garment production and commerce, with a focus on redefining garment customisation and personalisation. It enables clients to order from the designers custom-made garments in limited edition from the collections through made-to-measure or standard sizing options.

KIYAKAYA presents an event in the concept of multiple pop-up designer installations to transform the heritage listed location of Perth’s oldest educational landmark, the Old Perth Boys’ School into individually curated spaces, which blur the line between ‘retail’ and ‘art installation’.

We invited visitors to enjoy the creative expression of our independent fashion labels and discover their latest collections. We also introduce innovation in garment design and customisation service.

The lines between retail and art installation will be blurred in an interactive market featuring independent labels and including a garment customisation service.
